Dr. James Slaughter believes every child deserves the best possible dental experience—and that a positive first visit can set the tone for a lifetime of healthy habits. Since 2011, he’s been caring for children across the Dallas area, helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and even excited about visiting the dentist.
Known for his calm, compassionate approach, Dr. Slaughter combines advanced pediatric training with a genuine passion for patient education, ensuring every child and parent understands how to maintain a healthy smile between visits.

Dr. Slaughter’s background includes extensive training in oral surgery, trauma management, interceptive orthodontics, restorative dentistry, behavior management, and care for individuals with special needs.

Outside of the Office
Outside the office, Dr. Slaughter’s greatest joy is spending time with his wife, Jonna, and their four children—Semaj Noelle, Soleil Elise, Storie Brielle, and James IV. He enjoys traveling, playing golf, and making memories with his family.
