Meet Dr. Franklin Awah
Dr. Franklin Awah brings a deep commitment to patient care, clinical excellence, and community health to Texas Tiny Teeth. His interest in healthcare began early, shaped by seeing firsthand the trust and impact dental providers have within their communities. That early exposure inspired him to pursue a career where he could combine advanced surgical skill with meaningful patient relationships.
Dr. Awah is passionate about helping patients restore both function and confidence. He believes that clear communication, thoughtful planning, and compassionate care are essential to delivering the best possible outcomes.
Education & Experience
Dr. Awah completed his undergraduate studies and dental education at the University of Illinois in Chicago, where he distinguished himself clinically and earned the Oral Surgery Student Award. Following dental school, he was accepted into a rigorous six-year Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at The University of Alabama at Birmingham.
During his residency, Dr. Awah earned his medical degree and received extensive training in anesthesia, corrective jaw surgery, and dental implant placement. He served as Chief Resident in his final year, reflecting both his leadership abilities and clinical expertise.

Outside of the Office
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Awah enjoys spending time outdoors on the Katy Trail or catching a Dallas Mavericks game. He is excited to be joining Texas Tiny Teeth and looks forward to serving patients and families throughout the Dallas Metro community.
